Shahnaz Sethna is an Iranian Zarathushtrian who was born in Bombay, India in 1964. She grew up in Tehran, Iran and obtained a Bachelors degree in Physics from Shiraz University in 1987. After graduation, she worked as a computer programmer at Iran's Telecommunication company. Shahnaz met her husband Yezdi Sethna (originally from Karachi) while he was visiting Iran. In 1992 they married in Karachi, where they have settled ever since, and have been raising their two children. Shahnaz feels her understanding of the Zarathushtrian religion is similar to that of  Professor Kaikhosrov D. Irani as reflected in Professor Irani's writings.
