Trity Pourbahrami was born in Tehran in 1976 and moved to Vancouver
with her family eleven years later. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in
Physics and Physiology at the University of British Columbia. Her career
interests are in women's health and international health. She has worked in
the South Caucasus, Canada, and the United States. Her work is focused on
the empowerment of women and children who have been oppressed and/or
marginalized. She has been an active member of the local, national and
international Zoroastrian community for more than a decade.
