Late Jamshid Pavri was one of the first
Zarathushtis to have settled in Vancouver, British Columbia, and a founding member of the
Zoroastrian Society of British Columbia. He was a very active member of the Zarathushti
community in British Columbia, and a historian by hobby. During his distinguished life of
service and scholarship Mr. Pavri came to know Arbab Rustam Guiv well, and compiled this
biography for the occasion of the memorial services that were held in Vancouver to observe
Arbab Guiv’s death.
